Abstract

An alarm comprises a diaper humidity level sensor emitting a signal to initiate a warning signal and an indicator. The warning is pref. an audible note from a sound transmitter. The sensor (13) is pref. located between two layers of the diaper and has two electrically conductive elements connected to the alarm circuitry (2). - There is pref. a pocket to receive and hold the alarm and which is located at the front or rear of the diaper and is clipped to electrode leads by conductive elements. The sensor may comprise conductive lines, e.g., of carbon, silver or adhesive printed on thin paper.
