Abstract

The rotor (2) has a nave (4) by means of which it is fitted on the shaft (1), and the nave incorporates a wedge union and/or a shrink union using shrink rings for transmission of torque. At least one radially directed cylindrical hollow chamber (7a, 7b) extends along its generatrix from the nave outer cover surface (5) to a surface (9a, 9b) inside the cover surface of the shaft. - In the hollow chamber is a cylindrical body (10a, 10b) with one part in the nave and one inside the shaft cover surface (8). The hollow chamber is taken up with the nave fitted on the shaft, after which the body is placed in the chamber. The body is made with such dimensions in a plane at right-angles to its generatrix that at the shaft drive temp. it produces a shrink engagement with the hollow chamber.
