Abstract

The invention concerns an arc shield to be used in connection with a conductor 1 which comprises an insulated conductor comprising at least one shield component 4 arranged in the vicinity of the fixing point of the conductor in electrical contact with the conductor 1, the mass of which is dimensioned to withstand the flash effect from the base point of the arc.
