Abstract

The invention relates to a hot-rolling mill, preferably a hot-rolling milling having at least two pairs of rolls. Continuous belts are drawn around the upper and lower rolls, respectively, running in contact with the rolled metal, between roll and rolled metal, and designed to absorb heat. The belt tension can be adjusted by means of tension rolls, for instance.
