Abstract

The revolution rate rod sensor (1) rod is held in a bore by a clamping friction bush (4) and detects rotation of a pole wheel (6). A sprung element exerts a spring force on the rod sensor in the pole wheel direction. The sprung element consists of the bush and axial claws formed from the bush which engage the outer rod surface and only allow axial rod motion in the pole wheel direction. ADVANTAGE - Rod sensor is forced only towards the pole wheel without additional assembly or material costs.
