Abstract

The invention relates to an apparatus for enforced heat transfer by means of low frequency sound between a body, solid or liquid and with a substantially plane surface, and a surrounding gas. The apparatus comprises of a resonator part (2) and a pulsator part (1) for the generation of a low frequency standing sound wave in the resonator part. The resonator part comprises of two tubular resonators with the same natural frequency which acoustically form a common resonator with the same natural frequency as the two resonators. The resonators have an open end and said open ends are facing each other at a close distance and are in connection with each other via a heat transfer zone (3). The body is conveyed into the heat transfer zone via openings in the resonators.
