Abstract
PURPOSE: To take weight balance and prevent deviations in vibrations on atomizing surface by providing a notch to the vibration magnifying horn portion on the side opposite from a liquid feed pipe.
CONSTITUTION: A vibration element 2 is excited by an ultrasonic wave oscillator 1. Next, the vibrations are amplified by a vibration magnifying horn 3 and are propagated to an atomizing surface 4. A notch 8 is provided on the side opposite from the liquid feed pipe 6 to balance the right and left weights of the vibration magnifying horn 3. As a result, the vibrations of the vibrator 2 are propagated without any deviation to the atomizing surface 4, whereby degradation of combustion characteristics owing to deviation of atomization patterns may be prevented.
