Abstract

The invention relates to an arrangement for digitally transmitting to a computer measurement data relating to the positioning in relation to one another of two components 12, 13 which are axially movable relative to one another, by means of a detector 1 of the type which comprises a rotor 3 which is mounted rotatably in a housing 2 and provided with a spindle 4 projecting therefrom and with which means are associated for providing information to the computer regarding the rotation angle position of the rotor relative to the housing. The detector 1 is connected to one 12 of said two components 12, 13. Connected to the spindle 4 of the rotor is a first element 8 which is in engagement with a seat in a second element 10 connected to the second component 13. One of said two elements 8, 19 has at least one thread 9, in which at least one driver member 19 of the second element engages. The thread and the driver member interact so as, on axial displacement of one component relative to the other, to set said first element in rotation while converting the axial movements of the components into rotational movements of the rotor 13 of the angle detector. <IMAGE>
