Abstract

Tracklaying truck for caterpillar-type vehicle having a front drive wheel 2, a number of travelling wheels 3 and a rear tensioning wheel 4, and a belt 5 running around these wheels. The tensioning wheel is supported by a pivotably mounted piston-cylinder device 6, which is hinge-connected to a further piston-cylinder device 7, which in turn is pivotably mounted at a point a slightly behind the axle b of the rear travelling wheel. When the tensioning wheel is swivelled down from a raised position to the level of the travelling wheels, the belt tension is simultaneously increased. <IMAGE>
