Abstract
The invention concerns a coupling arrangement intended to be fitted on a vehicle and comprising an attachment part intended to be attached to the vehicle and a coupling part 22, of which parts one comprises a tubular receiving element 30 and the other comprises an elongate insertion element 4 intended to be received in the receiving element. A movable piston 34 laterally spring-tensioned towards the insertion element can be driven into a side recess in the insertion element, in which side recess the piston is kept pressed by an abutment element 62 in a first position of engagement between the piston 34 and the abutment element 62. The abutment element 62 engages laterally in the path of movement of the piston 34 and is able to be driven essentially in the longitudinal direction of the piston 34 so as to bring the piston 34 to a second position of engagement between the abutment element and the piston, in which position the abutment element keeps the piston caught, counter to the spring tensioning action, essentially outside the path of movement of the insertion element 4 in the receiving element 30. <IMAGE>
