Abstract

The radar signal processor includes one device (1) for separating frequencies inside a band, B, relative to each time window, using spectral analysis. A decoder (7') operates on pseudo-random phases carried by frequencies in the band. A Doppler filtering is performed on each of the frequencies separated by the first device. An adaptive filter operates on the decoded signals during a given time window, dependent upon each frequency of the Doppler filter. The Doppler filtering determines a Doppler resolution. The adaptive filter determines a distance resolution. The processor also includes a Fourier transformer.
