Abstract

The invention concerns suspension mounting of a noise- damping or decorative slab in a ceiling, especially in a corridor, by means of at least two hooks on each of two opposite sides, which rest on a supporting horizontal edge or surface. The hooks are mounted, at least on one side, on a supporting edge and have a part which is parallel to the slab and from which the hook part is bent down and back through more than 90 degree in one or more stages. The part parallel to the slab is so long and also so designed that it allows the slab to hang perpendicular from the supporting edge without coming into contact with other building parts. <IMAGE>
