Abstract
A wear-resistant steel contains carbon, manganese, silicon, sulphur, phosphorus, nitrogen, titanium, and iron with the following proportions of these components in weight %: -Carbon 0.4-1.3 -Manganese 3-11.5 -Sulphur up to 0.5. -Phosphorus up to 0.1 -Titanium 0.01-0.15 -Nitrogen 0.02-0.9 -Iron the balance. -
