Abstract

Fold-out unit 2a, 12, for example in the form of a rudder, intended for a carrier in the form of a robot, projectile, etc. The unit comprises a support which is mounted rotatably at one of its ends and has a plate- shaped part 2a and a wing-shaped part 11 which can be exposed to the airstream blowing against it and, by interaction with the airstream, makes it possible for the airstream to perform all or the major part of the folding- out work necessary for the unit. The plate-shaped part 2a is mounted on the top edge of the support in a bearing 14 arranged so that the plate-shaped part can be angularly adjusted relative to the centre line of the carrier by means of a member 20 effecting the rotation. Furthermore, the wing-shaped part 11 is arranged on the plate-shaped part at that end of the latter facing away from the mounting end of the support. <IMAGE>
