Abstract

The invention relates to the manufacture of grinding tools which are used for the purpose of working natural building materials and other non-metallic materials which can be machined only with difficulty, and in particular to a metallic bond on the basis of copper for preparing the working layer (abrasive sheet) of a grinding tool. The metallic bond consists of the following components, in per cent by weight: Tin from 13 to 17 Cobalt from 2 to 9.9 Titanium hydride from 7 to 10 Lanthanum hexaboride from 0.01 to 0.09 the remainder being copper.
