Abstract

A pneumatic transport device for transferring particulate material from a container or chamber at a high pressure level to a container at a lower pressure level. At least one pressure-reducing apparatus 10, having a housing 12, is included in the transport device. The housing 12 comprises an inwardly projecting, centrally placed nozzle 48, which together with the housing forms an axial annular gap 42 opening out into a sealed chamber which deflects a particle/gas flow ca. 180 degree before the inlet to the nozzle 48. The nozzle 48 is made up of a jet 24, which is secured with a casting compound 50 in a holder 52a, 52b, in which the casting compound is of the concrete type and has a temperature expansion coefficient lying between the temperature expansion coefficients of the jet 24 and the container 52a, 52b. <IMAGE>
