Abstract

The tensioner in its active position brings into engagement an upper clamp loop (5) against a transversal roof rack bar (6). It also fixes the rack foot (2) in relation to a support (7) locating against the vehicle roof (8). - The support has a rubber coating, and has a bent part (7a) which grips against the vehicle side below the roof. The rack foot is pivotably accommodated in the tensioner active position in a U-shaped holder (9a,9b,9c,9g,9h) joined to the support via a traction component (4) connected to the tensioner.
