Abstract

The present invention relates to an arrangement for a load holder (4) adapted to a vehicle for the connection of a load support (2) capable of interacting with a load, such as a lockable ski holder, with a load rail (3) extending along the roof of the vehicle in question, by means of securing devices (5, 5<1>) acting between the rail (3) and the load support (2). The invention permits, amongst other things, the simple and reliable securing of desired load supports to the load holder adapted to the vehicle. A securing element (5, 5<1>) capable of gripping round a load rail (3) is so arranged as to grip around the load rail (3) in question with one part and as to be capable of interacting via two abutments (7) situated at a relative distance from one another with a connecting element (8). A clamping device (9) is so arranged as to act between said connecting element (8) and the load rail (3) in question for the purpose of clamping a load support (2) to the load rail (3).
