Abstract

The pump pistons are connected by a yoke (7), and the pumps are positioned on one side of a plate-form base (1), towards which cylinders (3) and pistons (4) are directed. The drive unit is fitted on the oposite side of the base, and includes a motor (20) governed by a control unit (27) which via an aperture in the base is coupled to a screw spindle (17). This spindle extends parallel to the cylinders, and rotates in engagement with a nut (18) on the yoke. The yoke is connected to the base by a telescopically movable stabiliser (21,22). The cylinders are fitted in a block (5) which has a through hole parallel with the cylinders in which the screw spindle and stabiliser are fitted. The stabiliser comprises two tubes moving telescopically one inside the other and enclosing the screw spindle. The pistons have an equal dia. over their whole stroke length, the drive motor is of the stepped type, and the control unit consists of power and computer sections. The cylinder end piece cylinder block and pistons are of plastic, pref. poltetrafluoroethylene.
