Abstract

The subject-matter of the invention is a connecting block (10) having normally-open contacts (22). A plurality of connecting element pairs (23), which each consist of two connecting elements (13), are arranged one behind the other in the connecting block (10). The connecting elements (13) consist of a connecting contact (25 and 26) which is free of soldering, screwing and insulation-stripping, and also consist of a separating contact tab (15 and 16). In the case of a connecting element pair (23), two separating contact tabs (15 and 16) are opposite one another at an angle. The use of an insulating material separating rod (18) between the separating contact tabs (15, 16), over the entire length of the connecting block (10), results in the two separating contact tabs (15, 16) of the connecting element pairs (23) being held at a distance, as a result of which normally-open contacts (22) are formed. <IMAGE>
