Abstract

An independent voltage (12) is generated at a time point within the ignition interval to control the connection (38) of the release voltage. The alternating voltage is generated by a multi-pole flywheel magnet (7), and a triggering-initiating voltage is released from a circuit independent of the generator circuit, such independent circuit controlling (21,43,44) a trigger release unit (24,38,39,40,23,41,34) coupled to the generator circuit. The trigger release unit comprises a thyristor or similar which is connectable to the current path (39,40,23,34,41) forming the flywheel magnet generator circuit with the ignition system (16) trigger circuit (34) and with the generator circuit. The trigger-releasing thyristor forms a unit which is connectable to the ignition system (21,22,23,24). (Provisional basic advised week 87/46)
