Abstract

The head (1) in the form of heating element (4) is movable in relation to the cup (2), and comprises a thin resistance component shaped to the edge (5) of the cup, which via the intermediary of a flexible press flange (6) is fixed to the movable joint-producing head (1). The press flange is of heat-resistant, plastic, such polytetrafluoroethylene. The resistance component is ring-shaped, and on its inner periphery has upwardly-bent fixture lugs (7) to which current leads (8) are press-fixed. - The joint-producing head enables a flexible pressure effect to be made, which follows the slightly undulating aperture edge which is not always of even thickness. where the resistance component itself acts as joint-producing surface, heat is developed where it is required, and heat wastage is minimised.
