Abstract

The apparatus for the detonation coating of coverings onto workpieces contains a time-delay element (16) which is connected to one of at least two powder dispensers (12) and to that output (5) of a control unit (1) to which another powder dispenser (11) is directly connected. The two dispensers (11, 12) as well as the ignition source (6) and a mixer (10) are connected to a means (13) for generating a stream containing the material of the covering (14) of a workpiece (15). The remaining outputs (2, 3, 4) of the control unit (1) are electrically coupled respectively to the source (6) of the high-temperature initiation of explosions and to valves (7, 8, 9) for supplying working gases of the mixer (10). <IMAGE>
