Abstract

This invention is a method to effect drainage of a house foundation (5) whereby at least one drainage pipe (6) is laid in a trench along the foundation (5) to run alongside it. Drain gravel is laid over top of this. This invention is unique in that connected canals (4) of equal lengths and open ends are placed side by side up to the foundation (5) and along it. These can be made out of corrugated board, for example. The canals (4) are situated in plumb position with the bottom ends facing towards said drainage pipe (6). The canals are filled in with drain gravel and thereafter water load is directed towards the canals. This invention is also a device for the drainage of house foundations.<IMAGE>
