Abstract

A shrinkable plastic sleeve joins the ends of two tubes which pref.consist of the outer coverings of insulated tubes carrying liqs. The jointing sleeve has a mid-section of virtually non-shrinkable material which is one-piece with its two ends of radially shrinkable material; the ends fit over those of the tubes, and the i.d. of both the mid and end sections is therefore larger than the o.d. of the ends of the tubes to be joined
