Abstract

The current-carrying conductors of the windings or else the individual winding layers have to be insulated from one another for reasons of dielectric strength. Similarly, the coils are subjected to great mechanical forces, which often can only be controlled by very expensive measures. The object of the invention is to provide an insulating system which forms a compact block of windings clamped together in every direction and ensures complete impregnation with insulating liquid. In the insulating arrangement for layer windings in the case of coils of liquid-cooled transformers and inductors, in which the electric conductors (1) of square or rectangular cross-section are arranged with insulating tapes (2), the insulating tapes (2) have a heat-activatable adhesive layer. For impregnating the coil with insulating oil, the electric conductors (1) of the layer winding are in each case wrapped with insulating tape (2), on which adhesive resin spots (2) are printed, as a multi-layered insulating covering applied transversely to the conductor winding. <IMAGE>
