Abstract

This invention concerns a pressure plate, made from reinforced concrete, which is adjustable in a vertical guide, by means of mounting screws, and which is designed to transfer loads from foundation beams of houses to the underlying ground in the form of naturally layered earth or aggregate. The pressure plate, which has a rectangular or square plan and a tub shaped cross-section perpendicular to the foundation beam, where its two limiting surfaces (2) and (3) run parallel with the foundation beam, can be drawn up to a suitable height above the tub bottom in which at least one adjustable mounting screw is fitted; The foundation beam is placed on these limiting surfaces after the mounting screw has been adjusted to the correct height.
