Abstract

Device for adjusting the inclination of the backrest of a seat, in particular for motor vehicles, whose backrest frame (16) is driven with two laterally arranged rotary fittings (15) via intermediate drives (17) by a drive shaft (18) which is mounted in the seat frame (11) and is driven via a toothed belt drive (26, 27, 19) by a handwheel mounted at the front end (11b) of the seat frame (11).
