Abstract
A rinsing device for rinsing and washing urine bottles, chamber pots and other receptacles containing excreta comprises a water tank 2 connected to a water supply 1, a water pump 3 for delivering water from the water tank 2 through a pipe 4 to the wash chamber 5 via nozzles 12, which are fitted in the wash chamber, and a drainage pipe 6 for evacuation of the materials rinsed out to a drain, and an at least partially perforated, curved piece 7, especially of sieve plate, similar to a siphon trap and designed for re-circulation of the water, which is surrounded by a closed container 8, which is connected by way of a pipe 9 to the water tank 2. A shut-off valve 11, situated at the top part of the water tank 2 and hermetically sealing off the water tank, means that the rinsing pressure can be adjusted, that the water tank does not need to be located above the wash chamber, and that the quantity of water used in circulation remains independent of the wash chamber and the siphon trap. <IMAGE>
