Abstract
An arrangement on a maximum-temperature regulator for combination heating boilers, which regulator is provided in order to interact with the operating-temperature regulator of the boiler and is designed such that, in the event of an excessive temperature of the boiler resulting from a defect in the operating-temperature regulator, the electrical supply network which is connected to the boiler is disconnected. The maximum-temperature regulator comprises a voltage-sensing device (11) which is suitable for defining a signal corresponding to the operating state of the boiler, and an excessive-temperature device (15) which is suitable for defining a signal corresponding to the boiler water temperature. Furthermore, the maximum-temperature regulator is designed such that, with the aid of a switching device (13, 16), the electrical supply network which is connected to the boiler is disconnected if a signal corresponding to the excessive temperature in the boiler is sensed at the same time as a further signal which corresponds to electrical or heating-oil operation of the boiler. <IMAGE>
