Abstract

The invention relates to a cassette for dispensing precut adhesive tape on a roll. The cassette comprises a housing 3 whose height corresponds to the width of the precut tape. The precut tape, supported on a protective strip, is placed in a space 11 which is limited by the housing 3, a sleeve 6 inside the latter and a cover which is attached to the open edge of the housing. The tape is guided out of the cassette towards the outer surface 3' of the housing 3 via a slit 8 in the direction of the arrow 12. The outer surface 3' of the housing 3 is fitted with a part, such as a border or rim 15, which raises the other end of the tape in order to release it from the outer surface of the housing, enabling the end of the precut tape to be seized easily. The cassette also comprises parts 9, 21, 22 which fix the end of the tape to the outer surface 3' of the housing 3. <IMAGE>
