Abstract

The rail borne vehicle wheels (1) are mounted on a frame (2) on which are arranged cylinders (3,4) and beam devices (5,6). The cylinders can be activated to control the beams so that the vehicle body (7) turns in relation to its wheel units (1). The body (7) is suspended in pendulum units (8,9) which are attached to the beam devices (5,6). - The body can also be guided into transversal movement on the pendulums via a further cylinder (10), and a mechanism (12) controlled by a pressure medium (11) is activated by impulses from a computer (13) on board the vehicle. This mechanism (12) can also be connected by further conduits (14,15) with pressure medium for control of the wheel springs of the gas-fluid type. A signalling device (20) transmits data covering the character of a curve in the track to a receiver (17) in the wheel frame (2) which in turn passes them to the computer (13).
