Abstract
At least one side of the plate is coated with plastic and pressed to the desired shape. The sheet is then heated and the coating expand. Specifically a 0.5 mm thick plate has a coating of plastic. After pressing, the uncoated surface is lacquered and dried at 170 deg. C for 20 min. and the plastic layer expands to several millimetres.
