Abstract

The invention relates to a fixing device made of plastic for fixing wardrobes, cupboards, bookshelves and the like to a wall in a heightwise and sideways adjustable manner. The device comprises two flanges 1,2 which form a right angle. One of these flanges 1 is fitted with holes 3,4 for screws to fasten the flange to the side wall of a wardrobe, cupboard etc., using screws. The other flange 2 has a box 5 which can be closed with a cover 6 and which has a detachably mounted support 18. The latter can be moved and guided along guide paths 9,10 that run parallel to the longitudinal direction of the corner 1' between the flanges 1,2. The support 18 can be installed along the guide paths 9,10 with the aid of a set screw 21 that is introduced from the support into a groove at the bottom of the said box and in its lower wall 17, and which lies, with its head 21', against the outside of the said wall 17 of the box. Owing to the presence of a further groove at the bottom of the box and in the upper wall 16 of the box, the set screw - after the removal and rotation of the support - can alternatively lie in the said groove and have its head against the outside of the wall 16 of the box. The fixing device can thus serve for the left or right fixing of a wardrobe, cupboard or the like. <IMAGE>
