Abstract

The permanently magnetised body is composed of at least two parts which, when joined together, form a hollow assembly with uniform external magnetic polarity. Each of the parts is magnetised so that the magnetising field overall has the same direction, which means that the exterior of the parts has the same magnetic polarity. - When assembled to form a closed shell, the parts provide for one pole on the outside and the other on the inside. The parts in the form of hemi-spherical shells (1A,1B) are magnetised between two pole shoes (2,3) of which one (2) is also hemi-spherical, and the other (3) is block-shaped with a hemi-spherical hole.
