Abstract

The device for washing box-shaped objects comprises an arm on which are fitted four rotating brushes which (with their motors) are fitted on scissors for moving them sideways. The scissors are fitted on a central, rotatable shaft in the arm and are activated by a hydraulic piston and cylinder assembly and a draw spring. The shaft is in turn activated by a piston and cylinder arrangement which rotates it through 90 deg. synchronously with the scissor linear movement.
