Abstract

The invention relates to a piloting device for a body moving in a medium, e.g. a projectile, comprising at least one rudder which may provide steering pulses by first being rotated in a predetermined direction into the medium flow, constituting a steering surface 1b, 2b generating a lifting force. The rudder may subsequently continue its rotation without stopping, out of the medium flow in the predetermined direction. The rudder may be arranged to be driven in its rotative movement by a combination of the centrifugal force torque resulting from the rotation of the projectile, and by the frictional force torque resulting from the friction of the medium against the rudder. <IMAGE>
