Abstract

A ski stick handle 1 has a through-opening 5 with a wedge- shaped widening 6. The two strap portions 21, 22 of the wrist-strap loop extend through the opening 5. One strap portion 21 is connected to a wedge which fits in the cutout 6. The other strap portion 22 is clamped firmly between the wedge and the wall of the cutout 6. The strap- shaped band portions 21, 22 are arranged overlapping one another completely and with their main surfaces in the axial plane of the handle 1. The wedge 4 can be divided in its longitudinal direction and has between its parts 41, 42 lying close to one another a recess 43 which receives said one strap portion 21 with a securing force below a predetermined value so that the strap loop is opened when it is subjected to a predetermined tensile force. In this way, the wrist-strap loop can be both adjusted and quickly released. <IMAGE>
