Abstract

The shackle has two parts (36,38) which can be joined by couplings to form a closed eyelet. The couplings comprise pins (48,50) on the one part engaging in holes (44,46) on the other. Two securing surfaces (56,60,62,64) directed transversely to the aperture and pin geometric axes are formed on each shackle part. An elastic component (66,68) is provided on each shackle constituent. These components, under compression in a direction parallel to the securing surfaces, secure the pins (48,50) in the inserted position.
