Abstract

The invention relates to an arrangement intended to contain a plant or seedling with associated rooting medium both before and after planting, comprising a downwardly open casing 1 with perforated wall portions. At its lower end 3, i.e. the end which is to be guided down into the ground when planted, the arrangement has a portion 4 which has the shape of a cone and has openings or ducts 5 which extend in the longitudinal direction of the casing 1 in order to make it possible, during planting, for earth to be pressed in through said openings or ducts, by virtue of which the rooting medium is pressed outwards through the perforated wall portions of the casing in order thus to establish proper contact with the earth in which the growth of the plant is to take place. <IMAGE>
