Abstract
The current supply system is for head-borne hearing appts., and comprises one or more closed cells with alkaline electrolyte containing silver as positive electrode material and iron and/or cadmium as negative such material. The two poles (8, 9) of each cell are directly connected to outer poles (12, 13) of a stack (3) comprising a few series - coupled solar cells (4) with a working voltage of around 1.4 - 1.6 volts. The solar cell stack (3) can comprise three series-coupled silicon cells, or two series-connected gallium arsenide cells, and these act as charging units for the closed cells. The alkaline electrolyte in the closed cells is sucked into separators (7). The cell vessel (8) is in contact with the positive electrode, and the cover (9) serves as negative pole, insulated from the cell vessel with a gastight insulating sleeve (10). (Provisional basic advised Week K23).
