Abstract

A vapour removal hood comprises flue skirts (12) which are arranged at the two side walls (2) of the hood housing (1) and are displaceable out of an inoperative position in the region of the side walls into a variable operative position below the side walls. Each skirt (12) preferably has an outline in the of a quadrant of a circle and is mounted to be pivotable about a rotary bearing (13) provided in the region of the rearward lower corner the housing (1).
