Abstract

Procedure and device for heat exchangers where granules or balls in cassettes are used as heat absorbers/heat distributors and are moved between the gas flows with varying heat properties. Pure gas or air is forced between the exchanger and impurities are extracted from same. On swapping of the cassette, the cassette is cleaned with clean gas in a counter flow.The cassettes are mounted on a rotor and transfer between the gas flows occurs via the rotation of the rotor, which also, between the flows, has a delimiting wall.<IMAGE>
