An antiperspirant stick composition that exhibits essentially no oily feel; the composition contains active antiperspirant materials, emollient oil and from 1% to 50% by weight of a starch and preferably from 5% to 35% by weight of said starch, the preferred starch being aluminum starch octenylsuccinate.
