Abstract

A tabletop deleaver includes a frame, an infeed end (14) on the frame for receiving multiple ply continuous business forms to have at least one ply separated therefrom and at least two horizontally spaced, generally vertically extending partitions (16, 18) on the frame defining at least two outfeed stations for receiving respective parts of separated continuous business forms. At least two feed rollers (22, 24) are each journalled on the frame and each extend across the upper end of a corresponding one of the fixed partitions (16, 18). At least one carbon take-up reel (26) is journalled on the frame and extending generally parallel to the feed rollers and located in the space between the partitions. A drive system is provided for rotating the feed rollers (22, 24) and the take-up reel (26) at predetermined relative speeds such that the rotational drive applied to the take-up reel (26) is less positive than the rotational drive applied to the feed rollers (22, 24) to provide for optimum refolding of the business form at the outfeed stations. <IMAGE>
