Abstract

A hinge for opening a door (1) up to an angle of about 180 DEG . A mounting plate (4) and a hinge casing (3) are connected by two hinge arms (5, 12). The movement of the hinge arms (5, 12) is controlled in respect of each other by a rack (13, 14) and pinion (8) arrangement. One hinge arm (5) carries the pinion (8) and this hinge arm (5) is guided at two points of connection in guiding grooves (10, 11) in the mounting plate (4).
