Abstract
A pressure pulse triggered by means of a pushbutton (28) exerts a pressure on a control diaphragm (22), thereby displacing a fluid control medium out of a first chamber (16) into a second chamber (18). During this process, the control medium passes through throughflow openings (36) and raises a closing diaphragm (30) from a partition wall (20), at the same time passing through a throughflow opening (32) arranged in the closing diaphragm (30) into the second chamber (18). During this process, an actuating diaphragm (38) is moved counter to the force of a return spring (42). Permanent magnets (46) serving as actuating elements are connected to the actuating diaphragm (38) and these permanent magnets activate an actuating device used, for example, to open a valve. After the disappearance of the pressure pulse, the closing diaphragm (32) closes and, as a result, the control medium flows back from the second chamber (18) into the first chamber (16) in a delayed manner via a throttling screw (52) and a passage (50). Due to the provision of diaphragms, in particular as the closing part of a non-return valve (30, 32, 36), only small actuating forces are required and a high closing pressure is achieved. <IMAGE>
