Abstract

Sorting device for sorting material in shafts, having an inclined grill (1) which is composed of a plurality of rods (12, 13) which are parallel to one another and of a frame (2) which bears the rods. Every second rod (12) is permanently connected to the frame (2) whilst intermediate rods (13) are releasably connected to the frame in order to permit variation in the size of the material falling through between the rods by removing or adding an expedient number of rods. <IMAGE>
