Abstract

An electrical breaker arrangement has a moveable contact 5 which is arranged between two fixed contacts 3, 8 and operated with an operating arm 12. The moveable contact is mounted at a pin 4 emerging from the one fixed contact, which lies against the top side of the moveable contact by one end. A spring 16 holds the moveable contact pressed against the pin. The top side of the moveable contact interacts by its other end with the other fixed contact 8 and with the operating arm, which lies against the top side at a point between the two fixed contacts. The moveable contact is divided into three parallel contact arms 5A, 5B, of which the middle one is longer and forms an arc diverter. The two outer contact arms 5A are displaced in level relative to the middle contact arm 5B in order to produce a sequential breaking and making process for the contact arms by corresponding displacement of level of the fixed contact 8 at its free end and of the activating finger elements 12A, 12B of the operating arm. <IMAGE>
