Abstract

A flow speed indicator for gases and liquids utilizing a semiconductor body (1) introduced into the gas and respectively the liquid, whose one end is warmed by means of an electrical resistance wire (3), so that a temperature difference and thereby a voltage difference is produced between the ends of the semiconductor body. The flow speed's varying reduction of the temperature difference and thereby the voltage difference is utilized for determining the flow speed. The is done with the help of an amplifier (5), over whose input the semiconductor body is connected and to whose output a flow speed representing the signal occurs.<IMAGE>
